  • Q: How do I find out what my transfer credit would be worth at Mason?
  • A: Use this database to review previously evaluated transfer courses to Mason. Please note that this database is dynamic; we are constantly updating course equivalency data. While this data is as accurate and current as possible, the University retains the right to re-inspect any evaluation for which new information comes to light during a student's first semester of enrollment at Mason.
  • Q: What to do if I have not received a transfer credit evaluation or if there are credits missing?
  • A: Transfer Credit Inquiry Form may be used if you have NOT received a transfer credit evaluation or if you are missing credit for particular courses on your evaluation. Please return the completed form directly to the Office of Admissions.
  • Q. What do I do if some of my transfer credit is not counting for the correct courses?
  • A: If you have received a transfer credit evaluation and transfer credit was denied for particular courses, complete the Transfer Credit Re-evaluation Appeal From. Submit completed forms to the Mason academic department that offers the coursework from which you wish to receive credit.

  • A: Yes, but permission must be granted ahead of time. Obtain the form here

  • A: Yes, but it must be approved by the department and the instructor. Obtain the form here
  • Q: If I took AP/IB exams in highschool, what course would it count towards?

  • A: First run your degree evaluation (see below). Talk with an advisor if you have questions. Go to Patriot Web and follow steps under "Student Services", Graduation Intent option.
